Till now there have been about a thousand kinds of custom-made LCDs in segmented type, character dot matrix and graphic dot matrix, which are exported to Europe, USA, and Southeast Asia. They are widely used in many electronic parts, such as digital, fax machines, telephones, public IC phones, electronic scales, clocks, charge meters for taxi, display panels of hi-fi, , air conditioner and its remote controls, temperature display panels of refrigerators and control boards in automobiles or motorcycles.
